Installation advice

Good and bad practices

Do Moowstick stickers adhere to all types of paint?
Our stickers stick very well to matte or satin paints. Some small patterns may not adhere well to lacquer or oily paints.

Do Moowstick stickers adhere to all types of surfaces?
Smooth surfaces are best suited, while low texture surfaces such as orange peel effect are also suitable.
For good results, once the sticker is placed on the object (keeping the transfer transfer film), let stand for about an hour. Every 15 minutes, press a dry cloth over the surface of the sticker. This will allow the adhesive to fill in the imperfections of the object while making it easier for you to remove the transfer film.

What other surfaces do Moowstick stickers adhere to?
Our stickers can be applied to any smooth surface such as ceiling, glass, waxed concrete, smooth metal, tiles, plastic surfaces and varnished or lacquered wood furniture. Keep in mind that the less porous the surface, the greater the adhesion.

What surfaces are to be avoided?
Rough surfaces: Not only will there be no adhesion, but you risk piercing and damaging your sticker. The stickers will not adhere to materials with fibers (Japanese straw, etc ...), nor to blank canvas (unpainted). Installation on paper-based surfaces is only recommended if you want to stick your sticker permanently. The stickers are difficult to remove from paper or wallpaper.

Is removal easy?
Take off is easy. Lift up one corner with a fingernail and gently peel off sticker from the wall. If you have applied the stickers to surfaces such as glass, we recommend that you use a hair dryer (low heat position) to heat the sticker and release the adhesive making removal even easier.

Will there be traces? What about my painting?
No, our Moowstick stickers will not leave any traces of glue on your items. As we cannot guarantee the condition of each surface before installation, it is very rare that some paint chips remain stuck to the back of the sticker. A small touch-up may then be necessary.
